Women’s Vic League coaching opportunity for 2027

Build the program. Grow as a coach. Coach together.

Our 2027 Women’s Vic League coaching opportunity brings three ambitions together: build a program, grow as a coach and coach together. Greensborough Hockey Club is seeking a Head Coach for our Women’s Vic League 1 and Reserves program.

Build the future of Burra women’s hockey.

Build the Vic League program

Our goal is a strong, connected and competitive women’s program. We aim to create a pathway back to Premier League over the next one to three years.

There is already a foundation to build on. Talented juniors are coming through, while other players are ready to take the next step. Experienced senior players also provide a base for the program.

As Head Coach, you can develop the players, build the environment and create the pathway. The club is committed to development, connection and creating opportunities. Alongside tactical growth, we value a strong team culture.

Grow through Vic League coaching

This coaching opportunity may suit an experienced coach seeking a new challenge. It may also suit an assistant ready to step up, or a developing coach keen to build.

We are interested in the person as much as the coaching résumé. You can take your coaching forward with the club’s support. At the same time, you can help the next generation of Burra players.

If you enjoy player development and building a team environment, bring that enthusiasm to this role. Together, we want to build a program for the future—and have some fun along the way.

A coaching opportunity to work together

Bring your Reserves coach with you. We see real value in the two coaches working as a coaching team. Together, they can develop a single squad, a shared game model and a clear pathway between the teams.

This approach offers more opportunities to integrate emerging juniors. It can also build depth and competition for selection, while giving young players exposure to senior hockey.

Both coaches can therefore contribute to the program’s future as well as the next match. If you have a coaching partner in mind, we welcome that conversation.
