Senior and Returning Players
Greensborough Hockey Club welcomes new players, returning players and players moving from other clubs.
The club has teams and playing options across juniors, women’s, men’s and masters hockey, from social and local competition through to Premier League.
You do not need to know exactly where you fit before contacting us. Tell us your age, experience, availability and the type of hockey you are looking for, and we will help connect you with the right team, coach or training group.
Choose your playing pathway
Women’s hockey — regular club competition for women, from local grades through to Premier League.
Men’s hockey — regular club competition for men, from local grades through to Premier League.
Masters hockey — for eligible players who want to continue or return to hockey in Masters competition.
Not sure where you fit? Tell us your age, experience, availability and what sort of hockey you are looking for. You do not need to choose a team before contacting the club.
Before attending: Ask Colin which first activity suits you. Use the New Player Enquiry Form below or the WhatsApp button. Colin will review your enquiry and connect you with the right club contact.
Who should use this form?
Use this form if you are:
- an adult interested in playing hockey
- a returning player
- a player moving clubs
- a masters player
- an older junior moving towards senior hockey
- a parent asking about the best place for your child to start
What happens next?
After you submit the form, someone from the club will review your enquiry and help direct you to the right team, program, coach or training group.
You may be invited to attend a training session, speak with a coach, or receive more information about registration, fees and playing options.
Can I play with limited availability?
If you can attend only part of a winter season or some games, ask us about suitable options before you register or pay. What is possible depends on competition registration requirements, team capacity and the applicable club fee. We will discuss the current arrangements with you; submitting an enquiry does not reserve a team place.
In the form below, tell us roughly when you are available and what kind of hockey you hope to play. We will direct your question to the right club people.
Moving to Melbourne?
If you are moving from interstate or overseas and looking for hockey, Greensborough Hockey Club plays at Greensborough Hockey Centre in Plenty, in Melbourne’s north-east. See where we play.
We have women’s, men’s and Masters pathways across different levels. In the form below, tell us roughly when you expect to arrive, your playing experience and the kind of hockey you are seeking. Colin will help connect you with the right club contact to discuss current training or team options and any registration or transfer steps that apply before you commit. Team places and eligibility depend on the competition and current capacity.
