Not Sure Where You Fit?
For children aged 4 to 10 who are starting hockey or still learning the basics.
This program includes Hookin2Hockey, Under 6, Under 8 and Under 10. Children learn through fun, movement, confidence-building and simple game-based activities.
For Under 12 to Under 18 players who are ready to train, join a team and play regular matches against other clubs.
Under 12 teams play Saturday morning. Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 teams play Friday night.
For adults, returning players, older juniors moving into senior hockey, and players looking to join a local club.
That is normal. Players start hockey at different ages and with different levels of confidence, experience and availability.
Tell us the player’s age, experience and what kind of hockey they are looking for. We will help you find the right starting point.
What is Hookin2Hockey?
Hookin2Hockey is the branded entry part of our Saturday Morning Starter Program.
It is designed for young children who are starting hockey for the first time. The focus is on fun, confidence, movement, basic hockey skills and learning through simple game-based activities.
At Greensborough, Hookin2Hockey sits inside the Saturday Morning Starter Program, alongside Under 6, Under 8 and Under 10.
You do not need to know which group your child belongs in before contacting us. Tell us your child’s age and experience and we will help place them in the right starting point.
What does my child need to start?
For a first session, children should bring:
- comfortable clothes for running
- runners or suitable sports shoes
- a drink bottle
- a mouthguard
- shin guards
If your child does not have a hockey stick yet, ask us before the session. Beginner sticks may be available to try, depending on the program and session.
How much does it cost?
Fees and registration depend on the program.
For the Saturday Morning Starter Program, registration and payment are completed together through Revolutionise.
For Junior Club Competition, Senior, Women’s, Men’s and Masters Hockey, there are two steps:
Step 1: Register through Revolutionise.
Step 2: Check and pay the relevant club fees through Fees & Memberships.
If anything is unclear, ask us before registering and we will help you work out the right option.
