Player sponsors help support Greensborough Hockey Club players and strengthen the connection between the club, families, supporters and local businesses.
A player sponsor is a business, family or supporter who chooses to support a player’s participation at the club. This support can help reduce the cost of playing hockey while giving the sponsor recognition through the club’s player sponsorship program.
Supporting players
Player sponsorship is a practical way to support individual players and families.
Sponsors may choose to support a player because they are connected to the player, connected to the club, or want to contribute to local community sport.
All player sponsorship arrangements should be organised through Greensborough Hockey Club so that payments, recognition and expectations are clear.
Sponsor recognition
Player sponsors can be recognised on this page with their business name, logo and a link to their website or preferred contact page.
Sponsor recognition may include:
- sponsor logo displayed on this page
- sponsor name listed with the player they support, where appropriate
- link to the sponsor’s website or business page
- acknowledgement through agreed club communication channels
The exact recognition will depend on the sponsorship arrangement confirmed with the club.
