Greensborough Hockey Club recognises Just Hockey as our equipment sponsor. The Just Hockey equipment sponsor partnership helps players and families find suitable hockey gear and practical advice.
Just Hockey equipment sponsor support
Just Hockey has specialised in hockey since 1986. Its range includes sticks, shoes, mouthguards, shin guards, bags, accessories and junior starter equipment. Practical sizing guidance can help players choose gear that suits their height, comfort and stage of development.
For beginners, there is no need to buy everything before trying the sport. At Greensborough Hockey Club, new players can borrow a club stick while trialling. They should bring a properly fitted mouthguard, and the club can help families understand what equipment becomes useful once a player decides to continue.
Choosing gear with our equipment sponsor
A typical match-day kit includes a hockey stick, mouthguard, shin guards, suitable turf or field shoes and team socks. A bag can make transport easier, while extra accessories can be added later as a player learns what suits them.
Choosing the right stick is especially important for young players. Length, weight and feel should suit the player rather than simply following what another teammate uses. Shoes should also feel secure and comfortable for repeated movement on a hockey surface. Families can ask Just Hockey, our equipment sponsor, about sizing before buying.
For a practical overview, see our Field Hockey Gear Checklist for Beginner Players. It explains the core equipment and helps families separate essentials from optional extras.
