Greensborough Hockey Club’s 2026 Senior Presentation Evening brought the season to a celebratory close, recognising our award winners and the people who make senior hockey at Burra possible.
It was a chance to step away from the weekly rhythm of training and matches, enjoy each other’s company and acknowledge the effort that goes into a season. Congratulations to everyone recognised for their achievements in 2026.
Congratulations to our award winners
Our presentation awards give the club an opportunity to recognise individual achievement within a team sport. They also remind us how much players contribute through their commitment, improvement and support for those around them.
To every award recipient: well done on your recognition. Your teammates, families and the wider Burra community can share in the pride of what you have achieved.

Thank you to the people behind the season
A hockey season depends on far more than the players who take the field. Coaches, team managers, officials, volunteers and supporters all help keep our teams running. Families and friends provide encouragement along the way, while club volunteers give their time to the work that happens before and after each match.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to senior hockey at Greensborough in 2026. That collective effort gives our players the chance to compete, develop and enjoy being part of the club.
We also thank everyone involved in organising and delivering the Presentation Evening, and all who joined the celebrations. Bringing people together to recognise the season is a fitting way to finish it.
See the award announcements in GHC’s original Facebook post.
Congratulations again to our 2026 award winners, and thank you for another season at Burra.
