Our Under 10 hockey program starts on Saturday 2 May at Greensborough and gives children a fun, supportive way to learn the game, build confidence, and enjoy being part of a team.
The program is for players who are 8 or 9 years old on 1 January 2026.
Games are played at Greensborough every Saturday between 9.00am and 10.00am during school terms, running through to the end of August. Players can also attend optional training on Thursday nights from 5.30pm to 6.15pm for extra practice and skill development.
All skill levels are welcome. The program is suitable for complete beginners as well as children who already have some hockey experience. New players can also join during the season, so families are welcome to get involved even if they miss the opening rounds.
The focus is on development, enjoyment, and learning. Players are placed into suitable teams and take part in friendly local games that help them improve week by week. It is a simple and convenient way for children to stay active, develop new skills, and enjoy regular team sport close to home.
