Canteen Roster
Greensborough HC can keep registration fees to a minimum by supplementing fees with proceeds from the canteen and BBQ. The Greensborough HC volunteer committee give up many hours of their own time to manage the administration and operations of the club; it is unreasonable to expect them to also carry out the tasks associated with the BBQ and Canteen.
Teams can expect to be rostered to carry out canteen duty for every home game. This duty is not arduous and with all families participating, it would normally only occur a three or four times each year. It is expected that one parent, other family member or even a family friend for every child in the team will attend to assist with the duties. It is the responsibility of the team to organise parents to cover the duty. If a family is unavailable on the day and unable to assist, then it is expected that they find a replacement, including by swapping their duty with another family from a different team.
