Hockey is played on a synthetic surface so games in all types of weather will go ahead unless in the opinion of the umpires it becomes dangerous to the players.

Do not allow a game to continue if there is any threat of a lightning strike. Get your players as quickly as possible to a safe environment. During a game, call the umpire over, ask for the game to be abandoned.
