A public service for Ken Parkin will be held at the State Hockey and Netball Centre on Saturday 6th February at 12:30pm. Everyone is encouraged to wear their club jackets or representative gear and to bring a hockey stick.

Time – 12:30pm – 2:00pm
Speeches will begin at 12.30pm. There will be a friendly adult game at 1pm in honour of Ken, followed by a junior match at 1:30pm.
It is with great sadness that GHC announce the sudden passing of Ken Parkin. Ken played an integral and important role in promoting and developing junior hockey through school clinics and coaching/mentoring young players.
His enthusiasm and passion for the sport was evident in all his efforts. He was an asset to hockey and the Greensborough Hockey Club.
Ken was a Life Member of the Victorian Junior Hockey Association and Hockey Victoria. He will be sorely missed at GHC and the wider hockey community.
