Hookin2Hockey is open to all primary school-aged children, regardless of prior hockey experience. Whether your child is new to the game or looking to build confidence in a fun and supportive environment, this program is the perfect place to start.
We start with children as young as 3 or 4 years old, as long as they can take instruction from our coaches. Parents are also encouraged to join in as additional helpers—no hockey experience required, just a sense of fun!
Program Details
💲 Cost: $89 for the season (until late August). Additional fees apply for children upgrading to the Under 8 or Under 10 competition.

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Where: Greensborough Hockey Club
📆 Runs every week (except public holiday weekends) until late August 2025
With Hookin2Hockey, we mainly concentrate on teaching skills, so there’s no problem if you cannot make it every week or if you decide to join or drop out midway through the season.
For children between 6 and 10 years old, there will be an opportunity to upgrade to the Under 8 or Under 10 competition as soon as their skills are judged as suitable, ensuring they can progress at the right pace.
Try Before You Commit!
We offer multiple Come & Try sessions so your child can attend until they decide to continue. No pressure—just fun and learning! Additionally, we lend hockey sticks each week, so children can get started with hockey for very little cost.
