Build the Women’s Vic League program

There is a foundation to build on at Burra. Talented juniors are coming through, other players are ready to take the next step, and experienced senior players provide a base for the program. The club wants a coach who can help these players develop together.

GHC aims to build a strong, connected and competitive women’s program, with a pathway back to Premier League. The Head Coach can help shape the playing environment, develop the squad and support players as they move into senior hockey.

Alongside tactical development, the club values a positive team culture. This is an opportunity to contribute to the program’s future as well as prepare players for the next match.

Bring a coaching partner

Applicants can bring a Reserves coaching partner. Working as a coaching team offers the chance to develop a single squad, a shared game model and a clear pathway between Vic League 1 and Reserves.

That connection can help emerging juniors gain experience in senior hockey. It can also build depth across the squad and give both coaches a shared role in player development.

Explore the role and enquire

The opportunity may suit an experienced coach looking for a new challenge, an assistant ready to step up, or a developing coach keen to build a program. If you enjoy developing players and shaping a team environment, GHC would like to hear from you.
