Well the first NDHL Summer Campaign came to a close on Friday night.
Eltham played South Morang at 8.00pm, in what were very warm conditions. A great game on the night well supported by family, friends and players from the 4 other teams. It was a great relaxed night and the celebrations went into the wee hours of Saturday morning I’m told.
Eltham secured the Premiership 2-1, at the completion of play.
Although a close call by one of the administrators nearly saw the cup awarded to South Morang! My apologies to Tom Woodman and the team!!
The feedback from this first run at our own senior competition is nothing short of fantastic, great for club morale, spirit and strength.
With that said it would not have been possible without the Team Managers, so thank you for sharing the weekly comms and getting the teams on the park each week.
We will most certainly run this again this coming Sumer, I look forward to again enjoying a club based activity with our wider community…..cheers Stuart
