Some players to look out for on the day:

Women:

Karina DeVries Apted will play her first match in Premier League. She is a 15 year old goal keeper who is a member of the Victorian Under 15 team. Karina is a great prospect mentored by the present Australian goal keeper Rachel Lynch who provides coaching and support for all the Greensborough Junior Goal Keepers.

Nicola Hammond has just been selected in the Victorian Under 21 team.

Alan McQueen is a member of the Victorian Vipers and was the assistant coach of the Victorian Under 15 girls team.

Hana Peake is a long standing member of the Victorian Vipers.

Following winning three consecutive Premier League Premierships this team is rebuilding under the guidance of a new coach and features several girls in their first and second season. The girls have 1 win and 2 loss record to date this season.

Men:

This week Greensborough are fortunate enough to have two young Australian representatives available.

Tim Cross debuted for the Senior Australian team last month in Malaysia and scored a goal in his first match. Last week he was in Tasmania playing in the Senior Team against both Pakistan and South Korea.

Casey Hammond also played down in Tasmania last week in the Australia A team. Casey was a member of the Australian Junior World Cup squad.

The Greensborough Premiership team of last year has been hard hit by injury and has a 2 win 1 loss record to date this season.
