GHC Senior Coaches 2019

Welcome to season 2019. We are very pleased to announce our finalised senior coaching line-up for the upcoming season.

Tegan de Man – WPL Coach
Tegan’s decorated playing career and progression through the coaching ranks at The Burra made her the ideal candidate to take over in 2019 after already taking pre-season training. Tegan will continue to play weekend hockey when the schedule permits and will also play in our new 35+A Women’s Masters team on Wednesday nights.

Courtney Jacklin – WPLR Coach
After sharing the role with Tegan last season, Courtney steps up to take the sole coaching reins with our Reserves team and will continue to work well with all of the young talent coming through.

Georgia Logan – Women’s Pennant C Coach
Georgia has agreed to continue combining her weekend playing commitments with the Pennant C coaching role. This was a successful approach in 2018 and helped take the team into the finals.

Joe Hill – MPL Coach
Joe returns for a second year at the helm with some new and returning players to further strengthen the team. Joe will be aiming to return the team to finals action with further competition for places and impressive pre-season numbers.

Peter O’Connell – MPLR Coach
Peter makes a comeback to coaching at The Burra and is looking to use his significant playing and coaching experience to bring even more success to the Reserves team. Peter will also assist with identifying and developing young talent at the club.

Mark Ford – Men’s Pennant/Metro/Masters Coach
Burra Masters player Mark rejoins our coaching ranks after a stint coaching MPLR at Mentone. Mark has had a long career of coaching at various levels from club to national masters teams and aims to increase training numbers from the men’s pennant, metro and masters teams while taking on match day coaching duties with Pennant A.

We thank our senior coaching line-up in advance for their commitment and wish them all success and the best of luck in 2019.
